Known to casual and serious anglers alike as the "fishing capital of Texas," Port Aransas offers challenges and a string of rewards for everyone who casts a line. Anglers of all ages will find their own paradise in Port "A". Take your pick from numerous experienced guides or charters, or go it alone. Bring your own boat and launch it in one of our marinas. In addition, there are four lighted piers to fish from day or night - and don't forget the jetties and surf-fishing on the beach!

Known to many as the fishing capital of Texas, Port Aransas offers endless forms of angling, from fishing the bays and channels, to casting a line off the piers or jetty, surf or fly fishing, to offshore excursions. Catching limits of redfish, flounder, black drum and trout are common place in our waters.

Bring your fresh catch to a local eatery and have them cook it up, just the way you like it. Visit the local docks and marinas at weigh-in to see what fish are being caught. Or fish in one of our many tournaments, with one scheduled nearly every weekend from June thru August.
