Margarita Madness Kicks Off in Port Aransas
It's that time of year again...the time where local bars and restaurants battle it out behind the bar in a showdown of epic proportions. The goal? To determine 2022's "Best Margarita in Port Aransas." This year's competition is fierce, and every one of the "Salty Sixteen" is worthy of making your list of go-to vacation drinks. So who will come out on top? Only your votes can tell!
How Does Voting Work?
All voting will be done on the Margarita Madness page, where you can read full rules and guidelines for the bracket-style competition.
Round 1 begins March 11 at 4 p.m. and will continue through 10 a.m. on March 18.
At 4 p.m. the same day (March 18), Round 2 voting will begin with the "Eclectic Eight." Those eight will fight their way to the "Fresh Four" until 10 a.m. on March 25.
At 4 p.m. on March 25, Round 3 voting begins. This will be the final round of voting that will continue for a full week; it will close on April 1 at 10 a.m.
The "Final Two" contestants will be announced and voting to choose a winner will open at 4 p.m. on April 1. Between then and Tuesday, April 5 at 10 a.m., you can continue to vote once per day for your favorite.
At 4 p.m. on April 5, you are invite to tune in to a Facebook live event, where the 2022 champion will be revealed and the "Salty Sixteen" will be celebrated in style!
