A weekend of live music and lots of fun

It's hard to believe it's been an entire month since Port A Live Music Fest 2021 kicked off! All weekend long, crowds danced their way around the music venues of Port Aransas, listening to bands that spanned genres and generations. It was a weekend to remember, and one to look forward to for 2022!

Here's a quick look back at some Port A Live Music Fest highlights:

Landsharks Concert

The Landsharks, a world-renowned Jimmy Buffett tribute band, kept the crowd dancing all night long with a variety of Jimmy Buffett's island tunes, plus classic American favorites from other artists. There were inflatable sharks, giant beach balls, a dance floor made of sand, and even a surprise appearance by a giant landshark!

Incredible Music Talent

During Port A Live Music Fest, daytime live entertainment led to afternoon karaoke led to evening jam sessions. There were more than 30 concerts at 15 different venues over the span of three days in Port Aransas. Talented artists performed country, rock 'n roll, blues, and more. It was a "jam" packed festival!

...And More!

The excitement didn't stop with the music. Local restaurants got in on the fun with the first annual "Taco & Margarita Trail." For just $7 per combo, visitors could hop around town to Taco & Margarita Trail locations for delicious street taco and margarita creations. On Saturday, there was also the 10th annual Pirate Parade to celebrate "National Talk Like a Pirate Day." Pirates in golf carts tossed out candy and generally showed everyone a great time!

Thank you to everyone who came out! Who's already looking forward to next year?
