Grateful for Port Aransas

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and hopefully you’ve already booked your trip down to the Port Aransas coast. It’s easy to be grateful with your toes in the sand and your loved ones by your side! If you haven’t, there’s still time—check out places to stay here.

If you’re looking for a spot to have arguably the biggest meal of the year, look no further! Here is a list of places in Port Aransas who will be open on Turkey Day this year (November 24).

 

Coffee Waves

Open until noon.

 

Dylan's Coal Oven Pizzeria

Open for pre-order dinner pickups only.  Menu will include sliced turkey, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean almondine, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. More details can be found here. The rest of the week, hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Kody's

Open normal hours and serving turkey.

 

MacDaddy's Family Kitchen

Open from 11 a.m. to noon for pre-order pickups only. Monday of Thanksgiving week is the deadline to order. For more details and to order, click here.

 

Miss K's Bistro & Catering

Closed for regular business. Thanksgiving meal for pre-order and pick-up only. Thursday, November 17 is the deadline to order. The menu can be found here.

 

Port A Beach Lodge

Fried turkey and baked ham with all the fixins’ (Mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, pumpkin or pecan pie) will be served from noon until sell out. No reservations required.

 

Roosevelt's at the Tarpon Inn

Seatings for Roosevelt's Thanksgiving meal will take place at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2 p.m. There will be a carving station with turkey and prime rib and family-style accompaniments. The cost is $75 per person and space is limited.

 

The Gaff

Open regular hours.

 

Trout Street Bar & Grill

Trout Street will begin seating for a Thanksgiving meal at 10 a.m., begin serving at 11 a.m., and will close at 3 p.m. No reservations—first come, first served.

 

Virginia's on the Bay

Open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Thanksgiving buffet.

 

 VFW Post 8967

Open at noon. The post will supply five turkeys and two hams.
