Port Aransas may be only fourteen square miles, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t always room for new, exciting ventures to come to town. Here are three of the newest (or newly-renovated) places worth checking out.

Grumbles Seafood Co.

With the motto “Food, Family, and Fun,” the newest restaurant on Mustang Island truly encapsulates the spirit of Port Aransas. Grumbles Seafood Co. gives visitors the best of both worlds–an authentic seaside dining experience and a walk-through ordering system that keeps wait times to a minimum. Views at Grumbles directly overlook the water and the outdoor dining patio section is expansive, making it the ideal place for parties or families of all sizes to come and enjoy an upscale casual meal. Try popular dishes like the Tuna Bowl or Mahi Mahi BLT, or enjoy your choice of any of the items on the menu, all of which are “Gulf Coast fare” and sourced directly from Gulf waters.

Bron’s

Out with the old and in with the new! Bron’s has recently reopened and it has been worth the wait! Bron’s Backyard is built for everyone and designed for maximum fun for all ages. Between ping pong tables, fun swing chairs, cornhole, and giant Connect Four games, it’s hard not to smile during a visit to Bron’s. There’s even hula hoops and a sand pit! The brand new back bar has its own menu featuring signature cocktails like the “Key Lime Pie Margarita” and “Rummin Around the Caprisun.” As if that wasn’t enough fun, Bron’s also has live music most weekends and a unique fire show you won’t want to miss!

Gettin’ Salty

Gettin’ Salty Watersport’s goal is to become your go-to for Port Aransas jet ski rentals. This new rental company offers two and three-seater Sea-Doo Spark jet skis that are comfortable, quick, and built for adventure. Gettin’ Salty also offers guided jet ski tours every day from 4:30-6:30 PM, where guides lead up to four guests on a tour of the bay that includes, among other things, dolphin watching and a stop at Seashell Island!
