Kathleen Davis, CDME

Kathleen Davis brings decades of experience in the tourism industry, specializing in meeting planning, strategic marketing and communications, government relations, and community engagement. As President and CEO of Destinations Texas, she leads an organization dedicated to professional development and networking for destination organizations across the state, with a mission to support and develop Texas tourism professionals at every stage of their careers. Prior to joining Destinations Texas, Kathleen served as VP of Marketing at MMGY NextFactor, consulting with destinations on assessments and strategic planning. She previously held leadership roles with Discover Lancaster and the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau in Pennsylvania. Kathleen also serves on the board for Destinations International’s Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) program and is an instructor for the CDME Destination Leadership core class.
