Workshop: Photographing Birds in Action

She will explain why it is important to select the proper ISO, shutter speed, and focus points to capture the perfect image.  Tripods will be discussed including how to select a tripod that is right for action work, working with the ball head, and gimbal head.

You will learn how to work in different lighting conditions to get the best results, how to select the best photos from what you created (focus, wing position, flight direction, body position, etc.), and how to anticipate behavior before you take the shot. Kathy will also cover the use of slow shutter speeds to create interesting and effective action shots.
