We are unable to host our annual Tourism Summit this year due to construction, but still want to celebrate a great year and provide insights for the upcoming season. As such, we are planning two things:

A physical copy of the 2026 Annual Report will be mailed to all partners at the end of February so you have the year's data easily accessible as you plan the rest of the year.
We are excited to welcome back our keynote speaker from 2025's Tourism Summit, Neville Bhada of Applied Strategies and Principles, to speak about the state of the economy in the nation, state, and right here in Port Aransas. In lieu of a Tourism Summit, Neville's talk will take place over Zoom.

We are excited for another great year of tourism in Port Aransas and thankful to our partners at American Bank and Madden Media for helping us bring this event to life. Hope to see you there!

About Our Speaker

Neville Bhada is the founder and CEO of Applied Strategies and Principles. It is a firm that specializes in strategic planning and research needs of growing organizations.

Applied Strategies and Principles provides unique solutions with a customized approach through conversations, research, focus forums and more. Its experience with research, communication and education make it distinctively skilled to tackle issues facing firms as they grow and evolve into their next stage of development. He works with Huntsville, Alabama; Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association; Jackson, Mississippi; Oxford, Mississippi; Key West, Florida, and many others.

He is also an adjunct professor within the Tourism and Hospitality Management program at Middle Tennessee State University. He instructs in tourism, hospitality, events, strategic planning and marketing to undergraduate and graduate students. He also instructs annually at Texas Travel Alliance’s Travel and Tourism College to industry professionals.

He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in international business and a master's degree from Clemson University in travel and tourism. Recognitions received include “Outstanding Alumnus” by Clemson University, Texas Travel Alliance’s “Honorary Texan,” and in 2021, Travel South USA’s Ambassador of the Year. Neville also garnered a television Emmy award for his work with WFLD–Chicago.
