We are so grateful for your interest in becoming a volunteer for Texas SandFest! Our success would not be possible without the time and support of our volunteers.

Become a Texas SandFest Volunteer
Volunteer registration open on January 15, 2025 and will close April 14, 2025.
Information you should be aware of before signing up to volunteer at Texas SandFest:
- The minimum age to volunteer is 14.
- This event is outside, on the beach, and almost all jobs will be in the sun and other elements, including, but not limited to, heat, wind, and rain.
- Most jobs require standing and/or walking for most of the shift.
- Shifts are about 5.5 hours.
- Some jobs require lifting and moving various items; please check the job description.
- While we will do everything in our power to place you in the job you signed up for, there may be instances where we will need to assign you to a different job or task.
- Additional information, including details about parking and the check-in procedure, will be emailed to you approximately five days before your scheduled shift(s).
- Only those signed up before April 15 may volunteer, and walk-up volunteers are not accepted.
- Flip Flops or shoes MUST be worn at all times while volunteering.
Special Volunteer Incentive:
Volunteers who sign up for and complete three or more shifts during Texas SandFest will automatically be entered to win a Turtle Box Bluetooth speaker (Valued at $350). All Sunday afternoon shifts will qualify as two shifts.
Please review the terms before signing up:
1. Participants must be 18 or older.
2. You must register online for at least three shifts and complete them during the event (April 25 - 27, 2025).
3. Check in and out at the Volunteer Welcome area for every shift you work.
4. The winner will be drawn by May 15, 2025.

No, only authorized golf carts are allowed to be used inside and/or for SandFest.

There is a marked Vendor/Volunteer parking lot located at the north end of SandFest. This parking lot may only be used on the day or days you volunteer. Parking is free but you must have a valid beach parking permit.

Yes, there will be a changing booth.
Wristbands
-
No, your wristband is only good for the day you volunteer. If you are volunteering in the afternoon/evening, you may pick your wristband up AFTER 8 a.m. on the day you volunteer. The wristband may be picked up at Volunteer Welcome.

No, the earliest you can pick it up is 30 minutes before your first scheduled shift.

You can only get a replacement wristband if you have the original wristband with you. Lost wristbands will not be replaced.

Food Vouchers
