Not all heroes wear capes!

Port Aransas is a small town with a big heart. What makes this town so great are those who work in hospitality, they are the face of the island. Tourism is the island's top economic driver, and hospitality workers play a vital role in our amazing town. National Travel & Tourism Week is a great opportunity for us to honor these workers with recognition at the Tourism Rally. Hospitality workers who work, have worked, or volunteered in tourism-related fields such as restaurants, hotels, destinations, and entertainment have been nominated as Hospitality Heroes, and five of those nominees have been chosen as Superheroes. These heroes and superheroes go above and beyond to help this town keep its friendly and hardworking spirit alive.
