Port Aransas Museum

Located at 400 N. Alister Street, the Port Aransas Museum is a treasure trove of the island's past. Housed in a 1910 kit house, the museum showcases over 25,500 archived photos and documents, providing a window into the area's rich heritage. Permanent exhibits include:

  • The Fourth Order Fresnel lens from the Lydia Ann Lighthouse (1878–1952)
  • A historic train bell used in jetty construction

  • Vintage films and interviews depicting life in the 1920s and 1930s

Admission is free, with donations appreciated.

Farley Boat Works

Experience a living history at Farley Boat Works, where traditional boat-building techniques are preserved and practiced.Visitors can observe craftsmen at work and even participate in workshops, gaining hands-on experience in maritime craftsmanship.
