With a variety of options, including a 5k, 10k, and family-friendly fun run, this event welcomes all to enjoy the stunning beach views while staying active. Feel the sand beneath your feet as you stride along the shoreline and take in the breathtaking ocean vistas. Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking for a memorable family adventure, sign up now for a race that combines the beauty of the beach with the thrill of running. Get ready for an unforgettable experience that embraces both fitness and natural splendor!

*We will have compostable water cups available, but we encourage you to bring your own water bottle to help support sustainability.

Virtual Run

This year, join Flynn's Beach Run from anywhere with the virtual 5k run option. Sign up online, receive your t-shirt in the mail, and enjoy participating in the run wherever you are. Run on the treadmill at your local gym and feel like the beach is just steps away. Post your results and compare them with those who ran in person. Not only is this a great way to get involved from anywhere, but it is also a great way to support Port Aransas High School runners and sustainability efforts in Port Aransas.

Details

  • Start and finish at Horace Caldwell Pier
  • 8 a.m. start for all events
  • Packet pickup is Friday, Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Port Aransas Welcome Center (403 W. Cotter Ave.).
  • Day-of registration and packet pick-up begins at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9
  • This event is chip timed and age group awards will be presented. 
  • The 5k and 10k races are divided by gender and age: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-79, 80+.

Pricing for the race prior to race day is:

  • 5K: $25*
  • 10K: $30*
  • *17 & under: $20
  • Family Walk/Run (1 mile): $20
  • Late Registration/Day of is an additional $10
