March 14, 2026 Event Statements
Port Aransas is more than a beach destination, it's a close-knit coastal community where visitors are welcomed like family. We deeply regret that was not reflected in the events that took place on the beach the night of March 14, 2026. The safety and wellbeing of residents and visitors remains a top priority for the community and local officials. Our entire island community is thinking of those impacted and grateful to the first responders who acted quickly.
