We deeply regret that was not reflected in the events that took place on the beach the night of March 14, 2026. The safety and wellbeing of residents and visitors remains a top priority for the community and local officials. Our entire island community is thinking of those impacted and grateful to the first responders who acted quickly.

Our community is deeply saddened by the incident that occurred on the Port Aransas Beach on the night of March 14, 2026, and our hearts are with those were injured, their loved ones, and everyone impacted. We are working alongside the Port Aransas Police Department and our public safety partners as they continue to investigate, and we ask for patience and support as law enforcement completes their work.
